Emmanuel Séjourné is French composer. His music is rythmic, romantic, energetic, inspired both by the Western classical tradition and by popular culture (jazz, rock, extra-Européan). Many orchestras include his music in their repertoire : RadioSinfonieOrchester Stuttgart, Nagoya Philharmonic, Osaka Philharmonic, Sinfonia Toronto, Croatian Radio Television Symphony, Luxembourg Philharmonic, Lausanne Chamber Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Italienne, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Camerata de Bourgogne, Sofia Soloists, Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre d’Auvergne, de Cannes, Nice, Pau, Mulhouse, Bochumer Symphoniker, Wurttembergisches Kammerorchester, Paris Brassband, as numerous additional ensemble. Acclaimed by members of the percussion community, his works have been commissioned or recorded by many artists including Bogdan Bacanu et Wave Quartet (Genuin Classics 2016), Christoph Sietzen (Genuin Classics 2017) Alexej Gerassimez (Genuin Classics 2012) Gary Cook, Ju-Percussion group, Nancy Zeltsman, Marta Klimasara, Katarzyna Mycka.
His Concertos for percussion are a great success, whether for vibra and strings (1999) as his double-concerto for vibra, marimba & symphonic orchestra played since its creation in 2012 in Bulgaria, then in China, Switzerland, Germany, Poland, Brazil, Turkey, Latvia, Korea and France.
His concerto for Marimba and String Orchestra, commissioned and performed by Bogdan Bacanu, has since 2005 become an major work of the marimba repertoire, played more than 400 times with orchestra.
Far from being limited to the world of percussion Emmanuel Séjourné also composed many pieces for symphonic orchestra (Ketsana) as well as chamber music (commissioned by the Paris Opera and the Contrastes duet) as well as pieces for choir (commissioned by INECC Europeen Institut for Choir)
His passion for the stage has also led him to write and compose the show Planète Claviers for the « Percussions claviers de Lyon », piece commissioned by Grame Festival. This wild and unusual show was performed 120 times beetween 1998 and 2001.
Fascinated with the relations between various forms of artistic expression, he writes music for theater and television. He composed the music for the Ballet du Rhin’s performance « les envahisseurs », played during the two thousandth anniversary of the city of Strasbourg, and in 2004, he wrote a musical comedy « School Boulevard » commissioned by National Theater Luxembourg.
Simultaneously, Emmanuel Séjourné makes a career as an instrumentalist. Together with a saxophoniste Philippe Geiss, he founded the ensemble Noco Music, wich gained the European Audiovisuel Grand Prix. As a soloist, as well as with the ensemble Accroche-Note, he has so far premiered over hundred pieces of music (Donatoni, Manoury, Fedele, Hurel…) including concertos, chamber music and solos, and has been giving concerts all over the world.
Eager to share and communicate his passion, Emmanuel Séjourné is also Head Teacher of Percussion Department at the Strasbourg Academy of Music/ Conservatory.
His Master Classes are extremely sucessful in every major music conservatories in Europe, Asia an the USA.
He is often invited to sit on jurys for numerous international: ARD Munich Competition, Geneve, Tromp Competition, Salzburg Marimba Competition.

Dom Famularo (*1953) is a drummer, drum teacher, author, clinician and motivational speaker from Long Island, New York. He began his career as a performing jazz drummer. He studied under some of the greatest drummers of the 20th century, including Jim Chapin, and Joe Morello. With a passion for jazz and inspiring others, he began a successful drum teaching career. Some of the most successful jazz and rock drummers have had instruction from Dom. His sensational drumming and brilliant communications skills have earned Dom Famularo a reputation of being the world's leading motivational drum set artist / educator.
He has presented masterclasses and clinics around the globe in United States, Canada, Colombia, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, England, Ireland, Scotland, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Norway, Sweden, Poland, Serbia, Greece, Italy, Hungary, Costa Rica, Honduras, Puerto Rico, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Turkey, Israel, Canary Islands, South Africa, Ukraine, Latvia and Botswana.
Dom had created the first Wizdom Drumshed School in the world on Long Island (NY) many years ago ("Wizdom" being a mix of the words wizard and Dom). These schools are currently taking place across the globe in collaboration with Dom. In Quebec City, Canada run by Stephane Chamberland, in France run by Rob Hiron, in Paris run by Roger Rimbert and in Italy run by Massimo Russo.
Dom doesn't rely on major band affiliations as a claim to fame, but performances with the Buddy Rich Big Band, B.B. King, Lionel Hampton, Chuck Leavell (Rolling Stones), T Lavitz (The Dixie Dregs), and the Louie Bellson Big Band reveal the pedigree of his playing. He has shared the stage with Dave Weckl, Steve Gadd, Vinnie Colaiuta, Simon Phillips, Billy Cobham, Bernard Purdie, Rod Morgenstein, Chester Thompson, Terry Bozzio, Will Calhoun, Deen Castronovo, Russ McKinnon, Chad Smith, Mark Schulman, Denny Carmassi, Liberty DeVitto and Jim Chapin in worldwide drumming events. Dom fondly remembers performances with both Jeff Porcaro and Larrie Londin, both of whom he is proud to have had a friendship and perform with.
In addition to large drumming expos and clinic tours, Dom is an active educator at colleges, drum schools and camps. He has performed at the Percussive Arts Society Convention (PASIC), Percussion Institute of Technology (PIT) in Hollywood California, Drummers Collective in NY, KOSA Camp in Vermont USA, North Texas State University, the Graham Cole Percussion Camp in England, and Drummers Camp in the Black Forest of Germany and many others. In addition, he is an in-demand consultant to major music corporations, and serves as Education Consultant for Sabian Cymbals, Promark Sticks, Evans Drumheads, Mapex Drums, Hudson Music and Wizdom Media.
